Musical Experience
Mr. Vogt has been a soloist with some of the most important orchestras in Brazil, such as Campinas Symphonic Orchestra, Ribeirão Preto Symphonic Orchestra, USP-Philharmonic Orchestra, and São Paulo State Young Orchestra.
He has worked with renowned conductors such as Marin Alsop, Thierry Fischer, Isaac Karabtchevsky, Victor Hugo Toro, Giancarlo Guerrero, Reginaldo Nascimento, and Cláudio Cruz.
A number of quintets such as Herman Goetz's, Schumann's, César Franck, Dvořák, Brahms and Schostakovich plus an outstanding concerto and solo repertoire reflect his large chamber music experience.
Carlos Vogt was the first pianist ever to be admitted to OSESP's Academy of Music, from which he holds a degree.
He is currently taking a Master's degree in Music Performance, writing and performing the Chopin's 24 Études and its critic edition by Alfred Cortot.

Biography
Mr. Vogt started his music studies in 2010 under the tutelage of Brazilian composer and pianist Gaetano Cerino, who quickly noticed Carlos' natural talent for music and for the piano. The next step was having him continue his studies in USP (University of São Paulo), the most prestigious university of music in Brazil.
Carlos was a student of Brazilian pianist Eduardo Monteiro, during his undergraduate studies in USP, where he got his Bachelor’s degree in music.
From 2017 to 2019, he got a scholarship from Osesp’s Foundation to study with Russian pianist Olga Kopylova, who became his mentor. He was the first pianist to enter Osesp’s Academy of Music.
From 2020 to 2023, Carlos received another scholarship from Santa Marcelina Institute, where he was the first pianist of São Paulo's Young State Orchestra.
Amongst his prizes in national piano competitions are: 3rd place in Guiomar Novaes Piano Competition, 2nd prize in Piracicaba International Piano Competition, 2nd prize in Souza Lima Piano Competiton, 1st prize in Steinway Caio Pagano Piano Competition, 1st prize in Edna Bassetti Habith Piano Competition, 1st prize in 24th Nascente Music Competition (distinction for “Best interpreter of Debussy”), and an award of distinction on the 9th Ernani de Almeida Machado Award.
Recently, Mr. Vogt has been awarded the 4th prize in Rospigliosi International Piano Competition in Italy (Florence). He also took part at the Chopin Piano Festival in Marianské Lazne, in Czech Republic, playing concerts in Germany and other countries around the world.
Carlos Vogt had master classes with virtuosos like Alexander Toradze, Arnaldo Cohen, Caio Pagano, Cristian Budu, Clelia Iruzun, Déborah Halaz, Gabriela Monteiro, Nikolai Lugansky among others.
Mr. Vogt is also postgraduate in bussiness administration from FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas) and currently is taking a Master's Degree under the guidence of Prof. Dr. Danieli Longo Benedetti at UNESP (Universidade Estadual Paulista).
He devotes himself mostly to teaching the piano to promising young talents and music lovers. His greatest passion is to inspire other people through the beauty of art.
